Are you a Soul Winner?

"You Can Be A Soul Winner"
Whether you realize it or not, if you have been saved, you are a soul winner.
Now whether you are a good one or a bad one is totally up to you.
Being a good soul winner does not mean that you lead someone to the Lord every
time you go. It means that you are obedient to the command of Christ to go.
However, the more you go, the more you sow, and the more you sow, the more
you will reap (sorry, I just couldn't make it rhyme).
If you haven't been saved, this section is not for you. Please click on the tab
labeled "Question". After you have settled your salvation, please come back
here to learn about soul winning.
When Jesus left this earth and ascended back to His Father, He us left this
message, (Acts 1:8) "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is
come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in
all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."
Notice the words that I have italicized. Ye shall be witnesses. He did not say that
he wanted you to be a witness. Nor did He ask if you would be a witness. He
said, "Ye shall be witnesses...".
Many of us will request prayer for a certain person who is dear to us, or perhaps
a matter in our own lives that really needs the miracle working power of
Almighty God. When Jesus walked this earth, He left one and only one prayer
request. That was, "Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send
forth labourers into His harvest." (Matthew 9:38)
Most people think that Soul Winning is Tuesdays or Thursdays at 7:00pm (or
whenever your church has it scheduled). The truth is that true soul winning is
24/7. Every day and every minute of the day, you are a soul winner.
It is best if you will go with your church on their regularly scheduled soul
winning nights, but if you cannot, at least schedule a time when you go on a
regular basis.
What would be even better is if you could schedule your soul winning time to go
with someone that your Pastor recommends. The principle of going two by two
helps each of you stay accountable and encourages you to be faithful.
Why go soul winning?
Because of the Hopeless, Helpless, and Hurting.
Because of the Wicked, Worried, Wondering.
Why go soul winning?
Because the Highways and Hedges are full of people who need to be reached with
the message of salvation.
Because our Heavenly Father commands us to go into all the world and preach
the Gospel to every creature. Every creature needs a preacher!
Because Hell is pleading for someone to go to their loved ones with the message
that will keep them out of that terrible place.
Why go soul winning?
Because Jesus gave His life for me, the least I can do is obey Him and live my life
for Him. By the way, as a saved person, I am not my own, I am bought with a
price. Therefore I must glorify my Owner, Maker, Master, Lord, and Saviour,
Jesus Christ.
The best way to say "Thank You!" to Jesus for all that He does for us is to be a
soul winner and lead as many as we can to Him!
