That I may know him, and
the power of his
resurrection, and the
fellowship of his
sufferings, being made
conformable unto his death;

If by any means I might
attain unto the resurrection
of the dead.

Not as though I had already
attained, either were
already perfect: but I
follow after, if that I may
apprehend that for which
also I am apprehended of
Christ Jesus.

Brethren, I count not
myself to have
apprehended: but this one
thing I do, forgetting those
things which are behind,
and reaching forth unto
those things which are
before,

I press toward the mark for
the prize of the high calling
of God in Christ Jesus.

Harmony Baptist Church
Building lives that Harmonize with God's Word
The Lord brought me to Harmony on January 3, 2007.  It has been such a blessing to pastor these
people.  I really believe that God has knit our hearts together.  I look forward to what he is going
to do in and through us in the days ahead.

God has really blessed us through this time.  We have seen souls saved, victories won, lives
changed, converts baptized, backslidden restored.  I could go on and on.

All I can say is PRAISE the LORD!

He has done all of these great things.  I am humbled that He would choose me to take part in this
great work.

I am grateful for my godly heritage.  I was raised in a preacher's home.
My parents, Ron and
Loretta Jones, trained me up in the way that I should go.
My dad has been a pastor, assistant
pastor, music director, and now he is a missionary to India.

I have a brother
, Tony Jones, that pastors Faith Baptist Church in Walterboro, SC, a sister, Ginger
Hodnett,
whose husband Jody pastors in Lawty, FL, and three more sisters, Elizabeth, Kirsten,
and Rebekah,
who are still at home serving the Lord with Mom and Dad.

Through my growing up years, I made a profession of faith, but never really understood.  God
convicted me of my sin in June of 1987.  I struggled with this for about three months.  I kept
going back to my profession of faith, but the Holy Ghost would not let me alone.

Finally, on September 28, 1987, I waved the white flag of surrender and repented.  I trusted Jesus
as my Saviour that night.

As time went on, I told the Lord that I would do whatever He wanted of me.  I accepted His call
to preach on December 3rd, 1995.

The Lord led me to travel as an evangelist with
Neighborhood Bible Time in the summer of 1997.
This is when I met McKenzie Franceus, whom I married on October 9, 1998.

The Lord has blessed us with 3 boys - Levi, Noah, and Luke.  Please pray for us as we endeavor
to train them up in the way that they should go.

I spent the last four years serving at
Heritage Baptist Church in Locust Grove, GA, under the
leadership of my pastor, Terrell Hopkins (or Preacher as I call him).

It was here that God taught me many things, most importantly, the necessity and urgency of soul
winning.

Thank God for my Preacher.

My prayer is that of Elisha.  I want a double portion of the spirit of my Man of God.

Thank you for stopping by to read this and get to know us a little better.  I hope to get to know
you as well in the days ahead.

God bless you.  Now go soul winning!
